So, theoretically, the seventh-placed team can still qualify for the UEFA Cup, depending on how things go. It's not going to be easy for the Hammers with 6/1 on offer that West Ham United finish in the top six. It's 7/4 that West Ham United jump two places by season's end and finish in a very creditable eighth place.
A victory against Chelsea would keep the Hammers eight or more points above Tottenham and also put an almighty dent into the Blues' title chances. Following last week's victory at Fulham, the odds have shortened on West Ham United finishing in front of Tottenham in the league.
