FULL TIME

90min - GOAL - Nolan equalises with a neat finish from close range after the ball was lofted into the area and flicked on by Michalik. There was nothing that Green could do about it.

90min - Pantsil goes into the book for a foul on Michalik. Bolton seize the chance to fling everyone forward for a free-kick taken by Jaaskelainen. Spector clears off the line just when it seems the ball was going in from Diouf's header.

90min - The fourth official  has indicated four minutes of added time.

89min - Neill does really well to work his way into the penalty area. The ball just will not sit down for him though and some desperate defending stops the captain in his tracks.

88min - Gabbidon and Upson do well to tidy up after a quickfire Bolton break. The pair have been pretty solid all afternoon.

87min - Boa Morte does brilliantly on the right wing. He goes forward with style after keeping the ball in but his cross comes to nothing.

85min - Boa Morte wins a free-kick. Neill and Solano combine well but the ball eventually runs out of play on the right wing. Another West Ham United change as Bowyer goes off for John Pantsil.

82min - Hunt goes off with what appears to be a shoulder injury. On comes midfielder Gavin McCann.

80min - A hold-up in play as Hunt gets some treatment after going down.

78min - Speed makes way for Jloyd Samuel. The full-back will hope to inject some pace into the away attack.

76min - Diouf works a fine opening but he is denied by some resolute defending. The resulting corner sails across the penalty area to safety.

74min - Camara has the ball in the net but the offside flag goes up. Bolton go on an instant attack but Neill clears. It is becoming end to end.

73min - Davies sees a header just scrape the crossbar. He had pulled off Danny Gabbidon to find space - a warning for the home defence.

72min - Outstanding control from Etherington before the ball is switched wide right. Neill plays it in to the area but Bolton can clear. There will be plenty of chances for West Ham United on the counterattack.  Cole goes off to a standing ovation, making way for Camara.

70min - A good period of pressure follows but the ball just will not settle to allow one of the home team to get a shot away. A chance for Bolton to regroup with the referee's whistle for a foul.

69min - A poor Hunt clearance sets Etherington on his way. He finds Cole with a beautiful pass that sets the striker free. He gets his shot away but it is saved before Gardner gets the ball away. Another attack leads to yet another corner.

67min - Cole wins a challenge with Michalik. The ball runs free for the on-rushing Boa Morte but the referee brings it back for a foul.

65min - So close to a second. Boa Morte finds room to the left of goal but his cross to Cole is blocked by Campo. Another corner for the hosts.

64min - Bowyer is shown a yellow card for a foul in midfield. Diouf leads Bolton forward but Green claims his cross with ease.

60min - The home side are doing their best to take the attack to the visitors. It is clear Curbishley has sent his men out to get a second goal quickly although Bolton are standing firm.

58min - Henri Camara has been warming up for much of the half. The striker, available again after being cup-tied in midweek, will hope to get a run-out today. Green, meanwhile, has to palm a strong Speed shot over the bar.

56min - Bowyer goes down in the box but the referee waves away the penalty appeals. The home fans are trying to raise the tempo. Today's attendance is 33,867 with a couple of hundred of those from Bolton.

55min - Solano fires in a low drive that Jaaskelainen has to save. It came after good work by Cole.

52min - Diouf is down and needs treatment. The referee allows the trainer on but the forward is OK to continue..

50min - Nolan has a go with a low shot but it never troubled Green. West Ham United are making a change with Mullins clearly not over that first-half knock. Jonathan Spector comes on to play in central midfield.

49min - It is a cautious start from both sides although West Ham United are the first to win a corner this half after good play by Neill. Bolton are able to clear from Solano's corner. Etherington then bursts into the box but his shot is tame.

46min - Bolton have made a change at half-time. Michalik is on for Meite.

HALF-TIME

45min - After one minute of added time, referee Walton calls time on the half.

45min - McCartney and Etherington are linking up superbly on the left. Alan Curbishley will look for more of the same in the second half.

44min - The home side are working really hard. There is no sign of easing off before the interval. Boa Morte is the latest to have a go, winning possession before launching a shot that never troubled the goal.

42min - Bolton nearly get on the end of a long throw into the penalty area but Green is able to collect and clear.

39min - Solano upends Diouf in the centre-circle. Generally the match has been played in a good spirit but McCartney concedes another free-kick - to give Bolton a chance to fling the ball into the home area. Green comes and claims with ease.

36min - Etherington surges into a central position. Nicky Hunt tries to bring him down and eventually succeeds, earning a yellow card from referee Peter Walton. Solano hits a 30-yard free-kick but it does not test Jaaskelainen.

35min - Cole nearly forces O'Brien into an error but the defender just about manages to get the ball back to his keeper.

32min - Guthrie hits the post with a low shot. Green dived low to his left to save but the woodwork came to his rescue.

30min - Gary Speed tries his luck with a half-chance but it sails over the bar.

29min - Boa Morte tricks his way free on the right past Ricardo Gardner and sends in a decent cross but it is saved.

28min - After attention from physiotherapist George Cooper, Mullins is back on and the home side set about extending their advantage again.

26min - Mullins is receiving treatment on his right ankle in the penalty area. The midfielder is back on his feet though and walks to the sidelines for further examination.

24min - McCartney is having an inspired afternoon. Green is beaten by a deflected Diouf shot but the Northern Irishman is back on the line to clear with his head.

19min - GOAL - A flying right-foot volley from George McCartney opens the scoring. It comes after sustained pressure from the hosts that saw a clearance off the line from Upson.

18min - Cole is causing all sorts of problem in his lone striking role, with good support from Etherington and Luis Boa Morte on the left and right flanks. Bowyer is also supporting well from an advanced midfield role.

17min - Etherington is having an enjoyable afternoon. He comfortably beats Andy O'Brien on the left wing and surges into the box. Eventually Bolton clear for a corner. This time Solano's set-piece is cleared by Davies.

14min - Neill surges forward on the right. He loses possession, wins it back again and sends in a shot that the Bolton goalkeeper comfortably saves.

12min - Carlton Cole wins a brilliant header from Solano's lofted pass and sends Bowyer free but the flag goes up for offside. Cole looks surprised by the decision.

10min - Kevin Davies goes down under pressure from Neill. Bolton have a free-kick 25 yards out which Ivan Campo takes but Green watches it sail wide. John Pantsil and Jonathan Spector are warming up.

8min - Matthew Upson frees Etherington on the left. Another ball into the box has the Bolton defence back-pedalling but it comes to nothing.

6min - A great burst forward from Hayden Mullins sets Etherington free on the left. His cross is cleared for a corner. Solano takes but the referee spots an infringement and play is halted.

5min - Bolton go on the attack but it comes to nothing. West Ham United have started brightly and the fans are in good voice.

4min - The referee is talking to Lee Bowyer, he was not happy with a challenge in the centre of the park although play continued.

1min - Bolton get us under way. But the home side win possession immediately and push the visitors back.

KICK-OFF

3.57pm - As Bubbles rings out around the ground, Lucas Neill leads out West Ham United. Bolton are wearing their regular home strip of white shirts and black shorts.

3.39pm - Assistant manager Mervyn Day is with the attackers as they test their shooting. Matthew Etherington is looking particularly sharp.

3.21pm - It is a chilly but clear afternoon in east London. Robert Green, back in for Richard Wright, is the first player out to warm up in front of the Bobby Moore Stand along with Richard Wright and goalkeeping coach Ludek Miklosko. Here come the rest of the squad.

3.05pm - The teams are in. Alan Curbishley has recalled Nolberto Solano, cup-tied in midweek, and Danny Gabbidon for the injured Mark Noble and Anton Ferdinand. For the visitors, Nicolas Anelka - with six goals in the league this season - misses out.
