Youth team taking on Palace

West Ham United's Under-18s take on Crystal Palace this afternoon hoping that they can continue the winning run of form that could see them top their FA Premier Youth Academy group.

The young Hammers face a 2.30pm kick-off today at the Copers Cope Road ground of the Eagles, and will leapfrog above Arsenal to the top of Group A if they secure all three points.

Should that be the case, Tony Carr's team will then have to win their final three matches of the season, against Millwall, Leicester City and Reading, to ensure that they finish above the Gunners and qualify for the Academy League semi-finals.

Full report and reaction from today's match at Crystal Palace will appear on whufc.com later...
