Busy night for international Hammers

It was a busy evening for the Hammers on international duty last night. James Collins was in action for Wales as they breezed past San Marino in their Euro 2008 qualifier at the Millennium Stadium.

Ryan Giggs, Gareth Bale and Jason Koumas were on target in the 3-0 win, which puts them fifth in Group D.

Yossi Benayoun played his part to help Israel claim a 4-0 win over Estonia in Tel-Aviv, putting them second in Group E, two points behind Croatia.

John Pantsil played for Ghana as they lost 1-0 in a friendly to Brazil in Stockholm; their first defeat in six games under French coach Claude Le Roy.

Roy Carroll was on the bench for Northern Ireland's 2-1 win over Sweden, while Christian Dailly was also on the bench for Scotland as they lost 2-0 in Italy.
