The recent events held by West Ham United's Official
Overseas Property Partner, The Village, at Upton Park have been a
tremendous success. In fact, demand has been so high that new
presentation dates have now been added to the calendar!
Since we announced that apartments were on sale at The Village - a luxury 5-star golf, health and leisure resort in southern Spain - Hammers fans have been eager to attend an event and learn more, with several of the apartments reserved by the club having been snapped up already.
We spoke with lifelong Hammers fan, Gary Knight, who bought an apartment at the event in November, to find out exactly what makes The Village a great proposition for West Ham followers…

"I'd been looking to get a foot onto the foreign property ladder for some time, but there are so many places to choose from I just didn't know where to start.
"Then I received an invite from West Ham United to a presentation about The Village, and that gave the project instant credibility to me. I suppose I felt 'if it's good enough for the club I love, then it's good enough for me', and I knew I had to go along and find out more."
On the Presentation Evening…
"The event I attended was just fantastic - very professional and informative - and having the chance to meet and chat with Julian Dicks was a great bonus.
"The sales advisors from The Village and their partners* were especially helpful and knowledgeable, and they explained everything to me in straightforward terms that anybody could understand.
"I must admit, I went along out of curiosity more than anything, but I was so impressed with what I heard that I practically had my chequebook out by the end of the night!"
On Buying at The Village…
"My first criteria was to find a place somewhere warm and sunny, and with a lots to do and a lot going on. I did my homework not only into The Village, but into the town of Estepona, and it looked like the ideal setting.
"It's a combination of all the first-class facilities at The Village that appeals to me, but with 36 holes of PGA Championship-standard golf - endorsed by Seve Ballesteros, no less - it doesn't get any better for anyone who loves a round of golf.
"Not surprisingly, my friends and family are already queuing up to book future holidays in my new apartment, and I can't wait to start using it when it is ready in early 2009!"
