West Ham United's popular club photographer Steve
Bacon, who has been taking pictures of Hammers players for more
than 30 years, is to have his achievements recognised in a special
evening of celebration.
On Friday 24th August 2007, at Dagenham and Redbridge Football
Club, a dinner will be hosted in honour of Steve, who had been
forced to stop working in recent years due to illness, but is
thankfully now back at Upton Park snapping away again.
The evening is sure to be a memorable one, with special guests
Frank McAvennie, Ray Stewart, Tony Cottee, Tony Gale and Phil
Parkes attending, plus others who are yet to confirm.
Tickets are available at £45.00 each, which includes a
three-course meal, are very limited and will be sold on a strictly
first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased in tables
of 10 or as individuals.
