Team News: Alan Curbishley makes three changes to the team that started Saturday's FA Cup defeat against Watford. Calum Davenport returns after being cup-tied, and takes the place of the injured Lucas Neill, with Jonathan Spector switching to right-back.
Elsewhere, Yossi Benayoun returns from injury to replace Shaun Newton in midfield, while Marlon Harewood comes in for Bobby Zamora up front. New signing Kepa Blanco is named as a substitute.
Liverpool, meanwhile, name a 4-3-3 formation, with Peter Crouch, Craig Bellamy and Dirk Kuyt in attack.
