Nigel quick on the draw with under-21s

Nigel Reo-Coker played the entire 90 minutes as England Under-21s rescued a 2-2 friendly draw against Spain on Tuesday night.

The Hammers skipper captained his country in an entertaining affair at Derby County's Pride Park stadium, and played a key role as second half goals from David Nugent and Leroy Lita cancelled out Spain's 2-0 half-time lead in Stuart Pearce's first game in charge of the young Lions.

Meanwhile, another young Hammer was also representing England on Tuesday night. Striker Hogan Ephraim, currently on loan at Championship side Colchester United, appeared as a second half substitute as the Under-19s romped to a 4-1 victory over Poland at Bournemouth's Fitness First stadium.

Yossi Benayoun is on international duty tonight with Israel, as they face Ukraine in a friendly warm-up match ahead of their European Championship qualifier against England next month.
