Mascherano in action against Chelsea reserves

Argentinean midfielder Javier Mascherano will be in action for West Ham United's reserves tonight as they take on London rivals Chelsea.

The 22-year-old has been named in a strong squad, containing a mixture of youth and experience, as the reserves attempt to secure their first victory of the season after four successive defeats so far.

Also in action against the Blues tonight are defenders Tyrone Mears and John Pantsil, while Christian Dailly will take part in his second match in the space of 24 hours after appearing as a late substitute in yesterday's 2-1 victory at Upton Park.

The match takes place at Aldershot FC's Recreation Ground (click here for directions) and kicks off at 7.00pm. Admission is priced at £5.00 for adults and £2.00 for OAPs/juniors.

Squad to face Chelsea: Blackmore, Mears, Dailly, Ngala, Widdowson, Pantsil, Mascherano, Collison, Reid, Ephraim, Jeffery, Miller, O'Neil, Hales, Stanislas, Street, Sears.
