West Ham United is delighted to announce that the
takeover bid from a consortium led by Icelandic businessman Eggert
Magnusson has been successfully completed this morning.
Following the finalisation of necessary paperwork and formalities
between lawyers acting on behalf of the two parties on Monday
evening, a statement was released to the London Stock Exchange
today, confirming acceptance from the major shareholders of an
£85million offer.
