Further to yesterday's announcement from London
Underground regarding the closure of the District Line between
Upminster and East Ham on the weekend of the FA Cup final, we have
now been informed that their will be similar problems this coming
weekend, affecting supporters travelling to Upton Park for our
match against Tottenham Hotspur…
"On the weekend of May 6/7 there is no service on London Underground's District line in either direction between Upminster and Barking mainly because of Network Rail engineering works.
"We are aware that West Ham United supporters will be travelling to Upton Park on Sunday, May 7, for the Premiership match against Tottenham Hotspur.
"Therefore the travel advice for supporters coming from the Essex area is to travel on c2c services to Barking station. At Barking it is two stops westbound on the District line to Upton Park station. All c2c services also stop at West Ham on this day."
