We can now confirm that all tickets for the FA Cup final against Liverpool on Saturday, May 13 have been sold.
West Ham United received an allocation of just 23,500 tickets
for this fixture and, whilst we had hoped this would be increased
further by the Football Association, unfortunately this was not the
case.
The above number needed to be distributed to the following numbers
of each category of supporter: 750 Bondholders, approximately
22,200 season ticket holders and a further 1,800 executive members
and box holders.
It was decided that, due to the priority points system having
already been implemented for the semi-final against Middlesbrough,
any season ticket holder who attended this fixture would receive
priority for the Final. These supporters were given from 10am on
Monday 1st May to 5pm on Tuesday 2nd May in which to apply for
tickets. A total of 18,500 supporters attended the match at Villa
Park.
As advertised, any remaining tickets after sales to the above were
sold to season ticket holders that did not attend the semi-final
from 8am on Wednesday 3rd May. At approximately 9.05am the final
ticket was sold.
We are extremely sorry that, due to the size of the allocation, we
were not able to satisfy the demand from all of our season ticket
holders and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for
your continued loyal support.
