Man United v Hammers

Team News: Alan Pardew names an unchanged line-up following Saturday's 2-1 win at Wigan Athletic. Anton Ferdinand is named on the bench as he recovers from a groin injury. Also named as a substitute is former Old Trafford hero Teddy Sheringham.

The hosts, meanwhile, make five changes to the team that beat Birmingham City 3-0 on Sunday, as Evra, Park, Fletcher, Pique and Van Nistelrooy all return to Sir Alex Ferguson's team, and Saha and Giggs are named on the bench.

Previous meetings: Hammers visit Old Trafford for the first time since January 2003, when Glenn Roeder's team were subjected to a 6-0 thrashing in the FA Cup fourth round, just a month after losing 3-0 there in the Premiership.

Our last win up here came the season before that, when Jermain Defoe's late header earned a shock 1-0 victory - just 10 months after our FA Cup fourth round victory against the Reds by the same scoreline, when Paolo Di Canio memorably got the better of Fabien Barthez.
