Reserves face Charlton at The Valley

Kevin Keen has again named a young side for the reserve match against Charlton Athletic on Monday evening.

The Hammers coach takes his team to The Valley for their second match in three days following Friday's 2-0 defeat at Ipswich Town.

Stephen Bywater and Hogan Ephraim are again the only players included who possess first-team experience, while French midfielder Sekou Baradji returns to the starting line-up, and schoolboy defender Bondz Ngala is named as a substitute.

Meanwhile, Charlton - who are coached by former Hammer Mark Robson - will field an experienced side, with striker Francis Jeffers and defenders Jon Fortune, Talal El Karkouri and Gonzalo Sorondo all set to start.

Team to face Charlton: Bywater; Andrews, Henry, White, Widdowson; Reid, Collison, Baradji, Welsh; Ephraim, Hines. Subs: Hales, Blackmore, Jeffery, Fraye, Ngala.
