Team News: Captain Nigel Reo-Coker is available
for selection after missing Saturday's trip to Bolton through
illness, while Carl Fletcher and Clive Clarke are also added to
Alan Pardew's squad.
Squad to face Bolton: Hislop, Bywater, Scaloni, Dailly, Ferdinand,
Gabbidon, Collins, Ward, Konchesky, Clarke, Benayoun, Newton,
Mullins, Reo-Coker, Fletcher, Etherington, Sheringham, Ashton,
Harewood, Zamora, Katan.
Bolton, meanwhile, have Bruno N'Gotty, Abdoulaye Faye and
El-Hadji Diouf available again after injury and illness, while
striker Henrik Pedersen could be in line for a more prominent role
after his stunning goal at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday.
Previous meetings: Tonight's match will be the fifth
time we have faced Bolton Wanderers this season, following our 2-1
Premiership defeat at Upton Park in August, the 1-0 Carling Cup
third round defeat away in October, and the two most recent trips
to the Reebok Stadium - a 0-0 draw in the FA Cup fifth round that
set up tonight's reply and Saturday's 4-1 Premiership
defeat, which ended a run of nine matches unbeaten for Alan
Pardew's team.
Our last home victory against Bolton came on the final day of the
2001-02 campaign, when goals from Steve Lomas and Ian Pearce sealed
a 2-1 triumph and ensured Hammers a seventh-place finish in Glenn
Roeder's first season as manager.
Our most recent FA Cup encounter at Upton Park came way back in
January 1977, when strikes from Billy Jennings and Geoff Pike - his
first-ever goal for the Club - earned Hammers a 2-1 win in the
third round.
