Wonder Woman to abseil at Upton Park!

Lifelong Hammers fan Keely Quirk will get the chance to view Upton Park from a slightly unusual position on Saturday, March 25, when she abseils down the Bobby Moore Stand…dressed as Wonder Woman!

Keely will be taking part in the charity event to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer Care fund, following the sad death of her own sister-in-law through cancer last year.

Keely, who grew up in Newham before moving to Elm Park, where she now lives, and informs us that she is '25-ish!' says: "Marie Curie is a charity I feel passionately about. There are around 60 people signed up to the event but as far as I know I am the only Wonder Woman!

"I have supported West Ham for all of my life, although I must admit to being a bit of a football widow now, and this will be a chance for me to see the ground from an angle my husband never will!"

Hammers fans can offer their support to Keely's abseil challenge and help to raise money for the Marie Curie charity by pledging a donation at her sponsor page, which can be found at: www.justgiving.com/dianaprince
