West Ham United have been handed a home fixture against Charlton Athletic on the opening weekend of the 2006-07 Premiership season.
Hammers will take on our London rivals at Upton Park in the first game of the new campaign, which kicks off on Saturday, August 19.
The clash will see a number of familiar connections crop up,
with Alan Pardew and new Charlton manager Iain Dowie up against
their former clubs, and the same going for Hammers defender Paul
Konchesky and Addicks veteran Chris Powell.
Our first away match is a trip to newly-promoted Watford, scheduled for Tuesday, August 22, and just four days later Hammers are lined up to visit Anfield in a repeat of our FA Cup final clash against Liverpool just five weeks ago.
Other notable fixtures to look out for before Christmas are away trips to Tottenham Hotspur on October 21 and Chelsea on November 18, while Arsenal visit Upton Park on November 4 and Manchester United arrive here on December 16.
Harry Redknapp's Portsmouth are the visitors to Upton Park on Boxing Day, while Alan Pardew will head to his former club Reading on New Year's Day.
Hammers are set to visit Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium for the first time on April 7, with Bolton lined up for our final home game of the season on May 5.
The campaign finishes with a mouth-watering trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on May 13.
However, please note that ALL fixtures are still subject to change. Details of our live Sky TV coverage will appear here as soon as they are confirmed, while fixture dates will also be affected should we progress in the UEFA Cup.
