Reserve team fixtures announced

The fixtures for the 2006-07 Barclaycard Premiership Reserve League South have today been released, with Kevin Keen's team set to kick off their campaign against Watford at home.

The reserve league will take on a different format for the coming season, with only the 20 Premiership clubs permitted to take part. Split into north and south leagues of 10, the new system means that teams will play fewer matches, with Portsmouth and Aston Villa being the furthest destinations that Hammers will travel to.

Our reserve team will also have a change of venue for their home fixtures, with non-league outfit Bishop's Stortford taking over from Dagenham & Redbridge as hosts for the majority of our matches.

However, a number of home reserve games are also likely to be played at Upton Park - with any such venue change to be announced here on whufc.com as soon as it is confirmed.
