Norwich Travel Information

West Ham United would like to advise supporters travelling by train to Saturday's FA Cup tie at Norwich City that delays are expected due to engineering work on the main line between London Liverpool Street and Norwich.

The following is a statement from One Railway, the train operator in East Anglia:

"We regret to advise you that engineering work on the main line between London Liverpool Street and Norwich will close the line between Shenfield and Witham all day on January 7, 2006.

"Some bus replacement services will operate between Billericay and Colchester but severe travel disruption and delays can be expected.

"The advice from British Transport Police and ourselves is for travelling West Ham United fans to make alternative arrangements for getting to and from Norwich that day if at all possible.

"Please accept our apologies for this late notification."
