444Following the success of our charity auction in
January for a matchday mascot package at the FA Cup fourth round
clash against Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United are delighted to
announce that we are repeating the event for our fifth round replay
against Bolton Wanderers.
The auction is again being held to raise money to help the family
of Ian Jackson, a long-serving and loyal member of staff at Upton
Park who tragically died recently, leaving a wife and three young
children.
We are offering all Hammers fans the chance to contribute towards a
worthy cause and provide a young relative or friend with an
unforgettable occasion by bidding for this fantastic prize.
The winner will enjoy all the regular privileges of being a
matchday mascot - a full replica kit, the chance to meet Alan
Pardew and the players before the match, and the thrill of leading
the team out at a packed Boleyn Ground for our FA Cup replay
against Bolton on Wednesday, March 15. Our winning mascot will also
receive a personalised memento of their day.
The auction is open to bids now, with a starting price of
£100, and will close at precisely 5.00pm on Thursday, March 2,
2006. The highest bid submitted before that deadline will win the
auction. To submit your bid simply complete the form below (All
bids must be in multiples of £10.00).
Terms and conditions: Only bids submitted before the published
closing time and date will be accepted. Highest bid amount will be
updated regularly on whufc.com leading up to the close of auction.
The winning mascot must be aged under 16 years on March 15. Winning
bidder will be contacted by phone after close of auction. Payment
of successful bid to be cleared before official confirmation will
be sent. The Club's decision is final.
