Bobby Moore Fund Celebrity Golf Day

The 11th annual Bobby Moore Fund Celebrity Golf Day, sponsored by Citigroup, will be taking place on Wednesday, May 3, 2006.

As World Cup Fever starts to grip the country, the event, which aims to raise £150,000 for vital bowel cancer research, provides a timely opportunity for all those wanting to remember our legendary captain, the only Englishman to ever lift the greatest footballing prize.

The event also offers an ideal opportunity for corporate hospitality. Held at the prestigious Wentworth Club in Surrey, teams will have the chance to complete 18 holes on the highly esteemed, and newly redeveloped, West Course, home to the annual PGA and World Match Play Championships.

The cost for a team of four is £2,500 and includes breakfast, 18 holes of golf, a champagne reception, three-course dinner and an auction of fantastic sporting memorabilia.

The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK was established by Bobby's widow, Stephanie Moore MBE to raise money for research into bowel cancer, following Bobby's death from the disease in February 1993.

Teams can enter the golf day by calling 020 7009 8881 or by visiting www.bobbymoorefund.org

A coveted title sponsorship opportunity has also arisen this year. If you are interested in sponsorship/branding opportunities, please call 020 7009 8881.
