PARDS has almost a fully-fit squad to choose from for
Saturday's eagerly anticipated London derby clash with Arsenal
at Upton Park.
The only player currently on the casualty list is striker Jeremie
Aliadiere, who has a groin problem. The injury may require a small
operation, which means the Arsenal loanee is unlikely to be
available until after the international break.
Clive Clarke returns to the squad after missing the Carling
Cup victory over Sheffield Wednesday with a hamstring injury.
David Bellion, who scored on his Hammers debut against Wednesday
after recovering from a broken leg, is also included.
Jimmy Walker's recovery from a cruciate knee ligament injury is
progressing well, but it is still unclear when the popular
goalkeeper will be back in action.
The team to face Arsenal will be chosen from the following squad:
Carroll (GK), Hislop (GK), Etherington, Mullins, Gabbidon, Repka,
Reo-Coker, Ward, Collins, Dailly, Bellion, Newton, Ferdinand,
Harewood, Zamora, Konchesky, Sheringham, Noble, Benayoun, Williams,
Clarke, Cohen.
West Ham United v Arsenal at Upton Park, kick-off 3.00pm.
