Two Hammers Academy graduates, Mark Noble and Hogan Ephraim, have
been included in England Under-19 coach Martin Hunter's 18-man
squad for the forthcoming UEFA Under-19 Friendly Tournament in
Poland in early October.
The Three Lions will face the Czech Republic and two representative
teams from Poland in a dummy run of next year's UEFA Under-19
European Championships.
England's high ranking means they will not enter qualifying for the European Championships until the Elite Qualifying Round stage in the spring of 2006. So, while the first qualifying stage occurs around Europe, England will head to Eastern Europe for three friendlies in the build-up to their qualification campaign.
