NIGEL Reo-Coker was again named as captain of the England Under-21s
and Anton Ferdinand also started as Peter Taylor's side drew
1-1 with Germany.
An entertaining encounter saw Germany take the lead after 17
minutes through a goal from Stefan Kiessling. But England hit-back
with an acrobatic strike from Newcastle defender Steven Taylor just
before half-time.
The result leaves the two teams locked on the same number of points
at the top of qualifying group six for the UEFA European Under-21
Championships.
