Ephraim Named In England Under-18s



HAMMERS striker Hogan Ephraim has been included in the England Under-18 squad that will play a friendly against Turkey next month.

The squad includes several member of the Under-17s team which competed in the UEFA European Under-17 Championships in Italy in May. It is the first fixture of the season for the England Under-18 team.  Everton's James Vaughan, who scored on his first-team debut for his club last season, is named in the squad.

Other players in the squad who have played first-team football this season include Derby midfielder Giles Barnes, Walsall's Ishmeil Demontagnac and Bristol City defender Scott Golbourne.

The League Cup has also produced opportunities for members of the squad. West Ham's Ephraim and Arsenal midfielder Fabrice Muamba have both made their first-team debuts in the competition this season.
