JAMES Collins may yet play for Wales against Azerbaijan tonight
after making a surprise comeback from the shoulder injury which he
sustained in his country's 3-2 victory over Northern Ireland.
The former Cardiff City star had initially feared an absence of up
to six weeks with a dislocated shoulder.
But after resting in Cardiff the 22-year-old central defender has
returned to training and is awaiting a final verdict by the Wales
medical staff today.
An FA of Wales spokesman said: "The first diagnosis was six
weeks, but he is now back with the squad and has trained. He seems
to be okay but we will have to wait for any reaction."
Danny Gabbidon is set to return to the Wales side for tonight's
World Cup Qualifier at the Millennium Stadium.
