BOBBY Zamora is set to start for Hammers Reserves as they take on
Charlton Athletic at Dagenham & Redbridge this evening,
kick-off 7.00pm.
Zamora will form one-half of a potent first-team strike-force that
will also include Arsenal loanee Jeremie Aliadiere.
Elsewhere it is an exciting blend of youth and experience for the
Hammers.
There is plenty of senior experience in goal, where Stephen Bywater
starts after returning from his loan spell at Coventry as cover for
the injured Roy Carroll.
Right-back Jemel Henry and centre-back James Tomkins are two
Academy players who will be partnered by the more experienced Clive
Clarke and Elliott Ward in the back-four.
David Bellion is the most experienced player of the midfield
quartet, the Frenchman on loan from Manchester United expected to
start on the right.
Academy graduate Tony Stokes will start alongside second-year
Academy player David Cowley in centre-midfield with former England
Youth player Ishmael Welsh wide on the left. Kyel Reid misses out
this evening after picking up an injury playing for the Under-18s
on Saturday.
The Reserve team to face Chartlon Athletic is as follows:
