IN response to many enquiries from fans and colleagues in the media, we're pleased to report that Club Photographer Steve Bacon continues to make good, albeit slow, progress following his serious health scare.
Steve's diabetes has caused him problems with his feet and, following an ulcer, he lost a toe on his right foot. The wound is taking a long while to heal but, thankfully, further surgery was ruled out this week. The aim is that specially made footwear will, at least, enable Steve to gain more mobility, drive himself around and, hopefully, return to normal life covering Hammers' games again. Steve would like to thank all those supporters who have enquired about his health since his long stay in hospital at the beginning of the year.
