WEST Ham United confirms the signing of Shaun Newton from
Wolves.
The 29-year-old has been brought in by Alan Pardew to operate as a
right-back, due to the absence of Tomas Repka through suspension.
Shaun began his career as a trainee with Charlton, making his
League debut for the Addicks in 1993. After making over 250
appearances for Charlton, Shaun moved to Wolves for 850,000 in
August 2001 and was part of the Molineux club's First Division
promotion winning side in May 2003. Shaun made 150 appearances and
scored 13 goals during his time at Wolves.
