West Ham United will kick off their return to the top flight with a
home clash against Blackburn Rovers following the release of the
2005-06 Premiership fixtures this morning.
Following the opening day clash against Mark Hughes' men, Hammers will then travel to St James' Park on August 20th and complete the month with matches against Everton (away) on the 24th and Bolton at home on the 27th.
Other interesting fixtures include a Boxing Day clash against
Portsmouth away, while reigning Premiership champions Chelsea and
their trio of ex-Hammers, visit Upton Park on January 2nd.
West Ham are scheduled to play Everton on 24th August, however this
will be re-arranged due to their involvement in the Champions
League.
