ON Sunday 24th July 2005 you could be part of the World's
Biggest Quiz and at the same time help raise money for two worthy
causes.
The Rotary Club of Chelmsford are organising an attempt to set the
world record for the biggest ever quiz event, which if successful
will be entered into the Guinness Book of Records.
The action will take place between 12.30pm and 3.30pm at The Ford
County Ground, home of Essex County Cricket Club, New Writtle
Street, Chelmsford. Gates open at 10.30am and you are asked to
arrive by 12 noon.
There will be a Grand Raffle with some superb prizes on offer.
The profits from this event are to be shared between Farleigh
Hospice and a Rotary Fund to provide Sports Equipment for Local
Children.
There will be licensed bars and food outlets available.
Tickets are on sale now priced £4 for Adults and £1 for
Children Under 16. (No unaccompanied children)
