HAMMERS midfielder Mark Noble starred for the England Under-19s as
they drew 1-1 with Armenia in the UEFA European Under-19
Championships.
The young lions scored through an own goal from Petrosyan, but
the Academy graduate had two strikes disallowed as England
failed to convert their dominance into a win.
Noble's first effort was ruled out for a foul in the build-up
by Dexter Blackstock, while the midfielder was adjudged to have
been in an off-side position when he fired home for a second time.
The result leaves England third in Group B and means Martin
Hunter's team need a win against Norway on Saturday to make
sure of qualification.
