GAVIN Williams returns to the squad for tonight's clash with
Gillingham after missing the last four games with an ankle injury,
but Alan Pardew will be without Hayden Mullins, Mark Noble and
Sergei Rebrov for the trip to Priestfield.
Mullins (groin), Noble (hamstring) and Rebrov (calf) were all
injured in the 5-0 rout of Plymouth on Saturday, but Steve Lomas is
fit after playing 45 minutes against the Pilgrims and Matty
Etherington is in line to make his first appearance since
undergoing an operation on his groin injury.
Christian Dailly (thigh) is still four weeks away from fitness,
while Don Hutchison (knee) remains in the treatment room.
The game is still scheduled to go ahead despite snow in the area,
however supporters are advised to check updates on the official
website or call the Ticket Office on 0870 112 2700 before
travelling.
The team to face Gillingham will be chosen from the following
squad:
Bywater (GK), Walker (GK), Lomas, Ferdinand, Powell, Mackay,
Reo-Coker, Repka, Williams, Fletcher, Etherington, Harewood,
Zamora, Sheringham, Cohen, Brevett, Ward, McClenahan.
Gillingham v West Ham United at Priestfield, kick-off 7.45pm.
