STEVE Lomas returns to action in the Reserves this evening, while
new signing Dusan Kuciak will make his debut in goal as the Hammers
take on Charlton Athletic at Dagenham and Redbridge's Glyn
Hopkin Stadium.
Lomas has been out since sustaining a calf injury in December, and
this will be his first outing since leaving the field after half an
hour of the first-team's game at Rotherham six weeks ago.
Slovakian Under-19 international Kuciak makes his first appearance
since signing on loan from MSK Zilina on 31st January. The
19-year-old, who has agreed a deal until the end of the season,
replaces Matt Reed in goal.
Trent McClenahan replaces Jemel Henry after returning from
international duty with the Australian Under-20s last week and
appearing as an unused sub for the first-team's win over
Cardiff on Sunday. Another of the unused substitutes from that
game, Rufus Brevett, is included in place of the suspended Chris
Cohen. Defender Darren Blewitt is also serving a one-match
suspension this evening.
Tommy Laws comes in for Andy Melville who is on loan to Nottingham
Forest, while Kyel Reid makes way for Lomas and Ollie Allen is
recalled in place of Hogan Ephraim.
A youthful looking substitutes bench includes First Year Academy
scholars Liam White, Ryan Andrews and Ishmael Welsh-Elliott.
The team to face Charlton Athletic is as follows:
1. Dusan Kuciak (GK)
