NEW signing Jeremie Aliadiere gets his first start in a Hammers
shirt this evening as Kevin Keen's Reserve team take on
Portsmouth at Fratton Park, kick-off 7.00pm.
The 22-year-old French forward will partner Bobby Zamora in attack,
who plays for the Reserves for the first time this season after
coming off the bench in the last two first-team matches.
Also earning his first Reserve team appearance of the season is
fit-again defender Chris Cohen, Kevin Keen's most used
player last season with 21 second-string appearances.
Cohen will partner Elliott Ward in the centre of defence, who came
on in the first-team's 2-1 defeat to Bolton at the weekend to
earn the first Premiership appearance of his career.
Academy graduate Matt Reed continues in goal with fellow Academy
player Jemel Henry coming in at right-back. Clive Clarke
starts at left-back after recovering from injury.
The midfield also has an experienced look to it with Steve Lomas
and Shaun Newton both starting alongside Tony Stokes and Kyel
Reid.
