THERE were four Hammers players on international duty for their
respective countries last night.
Danny Gabbidon and Carl Fletcher both played the full 90 minutes in
Wales' 0-0 draw with Slovenia, while winger Gavin Williams came
on as a 62nd minute substitute in place of Rob Earnshaw in Swansea.
Defender James Collins was also called up to the squad, but was
forced to pull out with a calf injury.
Christian Dailly played the full 90 minutes as Scotland drew 2-2
with Austria in Graz. The Scots should have won the game but two
goals in the final 10 minutes denied Christian and his team an away
win.
On Tuesday night, both Nigel Reo-Coker and Anton Ferdinand played
for the England Under-21s as they defeated Denmark 1-0.
Congratulations to all those Hammers players who won international
caps this week.
