Nigel To Captain England Under-21s

HAMMERS midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker has been named as captain of the England Under-21s for this evening's friendly against Denmark.

The 21-year-old showed incredible maturity when captaining West Ham United to Play-off Final glory at the Millennium Stadium last season, and scored a stunning long-range goal in last Saturday's 3-1 win over Blackburn Rovers.

Hammers defender Anton Ferdinand is the second member of Alan Pardew's Hammers to be included in the Under-21 squad. He has been named on the bench for the match.
