WEST Ham United Ladies, newly promoted to the National League
Southern Division, lost their season's opener 5-1 to Bristol
City.
A poor start put pay to any hopes the Hammers had of getting
something from their opening game of the season. Trailing 4-0 just
before half-time, West Ham United did manage to pull a goal back
through Sam Pittuck.
In the second-half the girls were more than a match for Bristol
City, but there was no way back for the Hammers.
This Sunday the West Ham United Ladies host Brighton & Hove
Albion at Aveley, kick-off 2.00pm.
