SERGEI Rebrov will make his first appearance for the Hammers since
February in the Reserves' clash at Crystal Palace this evening,
kick-off 7.00pm.
The Ukraine striker has not played since injuring his calf in
the 5-0 win over Plymouth at Upton Park, and his return is a
welcome boost for Hammers boss Alan Pardew with the concern over
Teddy Sheringham's hamstring injury.
Rebrov starts for Kevin Keen's side in place of Moses Ashikodi,
who pulled a hamstring in the 0-0 draw against Derby County last
week. He will be partnered in attack by Hogan Ephraim, with David
Cowley, Tony Stokes and Kyel Reid all continuing in midfield.
They will be joined by Chris Cohen, who reverts to his more
familiar central midfield role having played the last six games at
centre-half. James Tomkins takes Cohen's place in the heart of
the defence alongside Liam White.
Rufus Brevett returns at left-back, which means Ryan Andrews will
switch to his preferred right-back role in place of Jemel Henry.
Slovakian youth international Dusan Kuciak continues in goal.
The team to face Crystal Palace is as follows:
1. Dusan Kuciak (GK)
2. Ryan Andrews
3. Rufus Brevett
4. James Tomkins
5. Liam White
6. Tony Stokes
7. David Cowley
