West Ham reserves lost 1-0 to a late Charlton winner on Tuesday
night - but Kevin Keen felt a draw would have been a fair
reflection on the game.
"It was a much improved performance from last week," he says, "and the best, apart from against Norwich, since I became reserve team boss.
"We had several good opportunities in the first half and forced their keeper into some good saves.
"We showed good spirit and should have had at least a point.
"The back four were excellent and it was the least work James Walker has had to do all season."
Don Hutchison made his comeback in the game and Kevin says:
"He did very well."
Trent McClenahan picked up a slight knock but Anton Ferdinand came through the game without problems.
TEAM: Walker, McClenahan, Ferdinand, Ward, Brevett, Noble, Wright, Cohen [Blewitt 65], Bunce, Hutchison [Stokes 75], Reid [Ashikodi 70].
Subs: Pearson, Behcet.
