"I was disappointed with the penalty but I was obviously pleased to score; I am happy with two but a hat trick would have been nice," he says.
Bobby insists that the long build-up to the penalty was not a factor, and adds:
"The keeper went the right way and saved it - I wasn't put off by the delay."
Marlon Harewood gave him the opportunity to claim the match ball and Bobby says:
"All credit to Marlon giving me the ball - he knows what it is like and he is top man."
Marlon had earlier nearly set Bobby up when he headed a Matthew Etherington cross towards him just in front of goal and he says:
"I didn't expect him to get there with it being such a deep cross and him back pedalling; he did really well to get it."
Now Bobby, back from a hamstring injury, feels in fine fettle and he adds:
"I was delighted to start and now I want to push the other lads for a start; somewhere along the line it would be nice to be involved on Saturday."
And he says Notts. County were no pushover on Tuesday, adding:
"They made it hard for us and took their goals well so all credit to them - but we got there with hard work and a bit of luck."
