Serge: Job Done

Sergei Rebrov says it was a job well done to beat Gillingham, and he hopes West Ham can keep the momentum going against Chelsea midweek.

Looking at the win on Saturday, in which he started the game in preference to Luke Chadwick, he says:

"The bad conditions were difficult but when we got 3-1 up, although we slowed up a bit, I think it was fine because the result is the most important thing.

"I am looking forward to Chelsea - we have to try and do in the Carling Cup what we have done in the league.

"But for me it is nothing 'special' as such, it is a normal game that the fans are looking forward to but it is a case of keeping going in the right direction."
