West Ham reserves went down 3-0 to Portsmouth on Wednesday evening - but Kevin Keen says there were mitigating circumstances which didn't tell the whole story of the game.
"The first half was disappointing though we had a perfectly good goal disallowed at 1-0 which might have changed the course of the match," he says.
"Darren Blewitt was adjudged to have fouled the keeper when he put the ball in the net from a corner, and that was unfortunate.
"But they scored two more just before half time and I must admit there were a few players that were off their game and let us down in the first 45 minutes.
"We played much better in the second half, though, we created chances, and we deserved a goal - at least."
