Sergei Rebrov hopes that more appearances for West Ham will help
him resurrect his international career with Ukraine.
Sergei, who impressed with a two-goal performance in the reserves against Southampton in the week, and who also played the entire second half against Wolves for the first team last weekend, says:
"If I am playing for West Ham I will be playing for the national side so I hope that happens.
"The national team trainer has said to me that when I start playing here I will get an invitation for the national team."
Sergei has to some extent been playing catch-up since missing the preseason campaign but he is making good progress and he adds:
"Training is absolutely fine; every manager has his view on training and I think Alan does a very good job.
"It is always interesting and everybody is happy."
