Chris Powell hopes that his loan spell at Upton Park from Charlton
will be extended.
Chris, who has packed five games into the time he has been here, sees his original month up before the trip to QPR, but he is waiting to see if an longer loan can be arranged.
"Playing for West Ham is very good for me and if I can stay for this season or even longer term who knows what happens then - I would be very, very happy.
"But I am still a Charlton player and if I am called back by them I have to adhere to their rules.
"At the moment I would prefer to stay here at this present time; after all, Nigel Winterburn and Stuart Pearce went on in to their late 30s here so we will have to wait and see if that happens to me.
"What's the secret? It must be that claret and blue shirt!"
