West Ham's Academy side were beaten 4-0 on Saturday - and Tony
Carr admits the performance was below standard.
"The wheels came off and we were very poor," he says candidly.
"It was an unacceptable performance and we had a hand in all four of their goals.
"At 1-0 we had a good goal disallowed and, if you are clutching at straws, you could say that changed the course of the game because a minute later they went down the other end and made it 2-0 - but that is only a crumb of comfort.
"We lacked inspiration, we didn't pass the ball, and we felt very sorry for ourselves when the goals went in - and there are no excuses."
