Marlon's Lost For Words...

Marlon Harewood was practically speechless after the win over Ipswich on Tuesday - echoing, no doubt, the feelings of the hoards of Hammers fans who shouted themselves silly on Tuesday night.

"I couldn't even talk after the game," he admits.

"The fans were fantastic and what more can I say? It was scary!

"It was very tiring but we kept it going, the goals came and the atmosphere was awesome - the best I have played under."

The players could, perhaps, have been forgiven for being deflated at the break when all their efforts had failed to yield a goal, but Marlon says:

"I wouldn't say we were frustrated at half time; we just couldn't wait to come back out and do our stuff again.

"We knew it was going to come."

Marlon reserves special praise for Christian Dailly, who got the all-important second goal, and he adds:

"Throughout the whole time I have been here I have seen him working hard on the field and in training so I am pleased for him."

As for the game in Cardiff, he says:

"We just have to go out there and do what we did yesterday."
