Adam Nowland is very pleased that Christian Dailly did not let the
fans who booed him on Saturday adversely affect his performance -
and insists he won them over.
Speaking of the treatment he got from a minority of supporters, Adam says:
"I don't want to comment too much on that but sometimes the fans have their own agenda.
"Christian came out on Saturday and put in a sterling performance - and he has nothing to prove to the lads.
"Maybe it is just one of those things where the fans get agitated and they take their frustrations out on somebody.
"Unfortunately that was Christian at the weekend - but he turned them round with a great performance because they were clapping him."
Adam scored the winner in West Ham's last reserve game against Fulham last week; don't forget that this week the match at home to Ipswich has been put back 24 hours to Wednesday.
