"The bottom line for us is that we can't go back and change anything that happened on Sunday," he says.
"I don't want us to be looking too forward though; I want us to concentrate on Gillingham and then go from there.
"I have great faith in these players to turn things around; we have a lot of young players who will have to learn very quickly what it means to wear the West Ham shirt.
"When you put on a performance like last Sunday and see the reaction to it you see the value of that shirt."
"This is the nuts and bolts now, where it happens, and it is important we win Saturday - that is all I am focusing on.
"It is still in our hands, really, getting in the play-off positions.
"Gillingham is going to be a tough game for us.
"They got a good result last Saturday then beaten in the week, and we have got to get a positive result."
