Don made his comeback in the reserves' 1-0 win over Fulham midweek and says:
"I feel good and I have trained for the last three weeks, so it was nice to get a reserve game in last night and I did well.
"It wasn't the greatest game in the world, it never is at Dagenham, but it was nice to get 90 minutes in.
"I am fit, it is just up to the gaffer now, and I am definitely ready."
Don is delighted to have made it back before the end of the season, and adds:
"I was out for six weeks with my knee when the doctor originally said 10 weeks, so I have come back four weeks early.
"I have worked really hard in the gym with John Green to get myself fit, staying behind most days and doing a lot of work.
"I have made a conscious effort to return before the end of the season and I have achieved that now, so it is up to the gaffer whether he wants to play me or not.
"It will be like a new signing for the gaffer if I can get back into the squad; if I can get back into the team it will be a little boost for him as well.
"We have to keep everyone fit and give it a good push - and I would be over the moon to start."
